Advocacy is taking action to help people say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. Our Independent Advocates work in partnership with the people they support whether child, young person or adult. Our Advocates promote social inclusion, equality, and social justice.
All our Independent Advocates adhere to the Advocacy Charter (2002) and Advocacy Code of Practice (2014).
Our services are universally available and can be commissioned by individuals, families, carers, those who already use services, statutory services, and public bodies. However, we want our services to be readily available to everyone. Therefore our services will be based on a sliding scale payment method to ensure that our services are available for all that require them at the time they need them.
